Jackson has been with Dodson Gregory since March 2016. He assists in all aspects of the firm’s civil litigation practice. Jackson has experience in defending companies against a wide range of claims including contract disputes, fraud, premises liability, outrage, commercial transportation, and workers’ compensation matters.
Jackson attended the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University. While in law school, Jackson was a member of the National Trial Team and was one of four team members who won the National Civil Trial Competition in Los Angeles, California. Jackson was also named to the Dean’s list every semester of law school, was a director on the Executive Trial Advocacy Board and was a 2014 recipient of the Nat Bryan American Board of Trial Advocates Award. While enrolled in law school, Jackson also earned his Masters of Business Administration from the Brock School of Business at Samford University. Prior to attending law school, Jackson graduated from the University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Science in Commerce and Business Administration.
Jackson is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in Alabama. Jackson was selected as a “Rising Star” in the area of civil defense litigation by Mid-South Super Lawyers. Jackson is an active member of both the Birmingham Bar Association and the Alabama State Bar. Jackson is also a member of the Rotaract Club of Birmingham where he has served on the Social and Membership Recruitment Committees and as a co-chair for the Club’s 2017-2018 Leadership Development Program.
Jackson and his wife, Tiffany, are members of the Cathedral Church of the Advent. They love to spend time together with their daughter, Scottie, and two dogs, Gus and Rooster. When he is not in the office, Jackson enjoys hunting, travelling with his family and friends and following the Alabama Crimson Tide.
